Mientras trabajo, suelo tener música movida de fondo, para ayudarme a pensar mejor. No suelo prestarla especial atención, sino que simplemente está ahi, en el fondo. Pero hoy me he parado especialmente en una que ha sonado, que ya conocía pero tenía un poco olvidada.

En el año 2004 el grupo Chumbawamba, conocido por su éxito Tubthumping, sobre todo gracias a la aparición en el FIFA 98, publicaba el single On Ebay, haciendo referencia, claro, al portal de subastas.

Si bien no es quizá la mejor publicidad que se le puede dar, ya que la canción precisamente habla del consumismo excesivo actual, si que denota la penetración en la sociedad que tienen determinadas empresas. Ya me gustaría a mi que se hiciera una canción sobre mi trabajo!
